Helpful information about visiting Aldersgate

Where are you located?  We are  directly behind Fashion Square Mall,  1500 Rio East Road, near the intersection of Seminole Trail/29 North and Rio Road.

What should I wear? Feel free to come as you are – no special assembly required! You’ll find that many wear casual clothing, others business casual or a coat and tie.  We want you to feel comfortable  as you come to participate in worship and it will be our joy to welcome you!

Is your church easily accessible?  Yes it is.  If you enter the lower level, turn right and proceed to the elevator which will be on your left.  If you enter from the upper, Rio Road side of the building, proceed through two sets of double doors and continue to the sanctuary on the right.

Do you have child care?  We have a professionally staffed nursery on the lower level of the educational building.  Just ask an usher and they’ll be happy to direct you.

What’s going on this week at Aldersgate? There’s lots of information about our ministries and offerings at the NEWS tab.  Just click on it and look for the latest weekly e-Note, bulletin, or Aldersgate Alive, our monthly magazine.

When is worship?  10:00 am, Traditional Service, 11:30 am Contemporary AMP (Aldersgate Music and Praise)

Will I have to stand up or say something as a newcomer? Absolutely not!  You’ll find that we will greet you warmly and welcome you but you will not be required to stand up during worship or be recognized in any other way.

Do I have to be an active Christian believer to attend?  Absolutely not!  We believe God meets us where we are, so wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we hope you’ll come worship with us, be involved in a mission project, or join one of our small groups if you’d like.

Are your worship services easy to follow?  Yes, we try hard to give everyone written and/or verbal directions as we move through the order of worship.  You don’t have to memorize anything before hand and you won’t be asked to take a quiz at the end of the service!  We do hope you find our worship to be engaging and meaningful.  Each of the two services follows a similar pattern:  gathering, hearing God’s Word, responding to God’s Word, Communion (first Sunday of the month at the 10:00 and every Sunday at the 11:30 service),  and finally being sent into the world.

How long are your worship services?  Each service tends to be right around an hour in length.
