The purpose of the Church Council is to provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources in the local church; to provide for the administration of the church's organization and temporal life; and to envision, plan, implement, and annually evaluate the mission and ministry of the church as it relates to the church's primary mission, which is "to make disciples of Jesus Christ."
